Amaterasu (Amaterasu-Ōmikami) means 'the great divinity illuminating heaven'. Amaterasu is the Japanese sun goddess and is known for her kindness, humility and strength. She illuminates what isn't able to be seen or is unknown. She is an energy that is very intelligent and assists being mindful and self- mastery.
